Jack and Jill (Print, Unframed)

A gentle tribute to a pair of
mallards I befriended as a child, Jack and Jill,
whose presence sparked an early connection to
the natural world and its quiet companionship.
Painted on paper, the scene captures a sun-
drenched forest clearing, where soft light filters
through the trees and a waterfall winds through
lush greenery. Using layered brushwork and
sponge textures, I sought to evoke the magic of
childhood wonder and the comfort of nature.
