Crimson Silence is a meditative landscape painted with a deliberately restricted palette. A world caught between dream and memory. Inspired by the compositional layering and atmosphere of Gustav Klimt.. The piece was created using a variety of unconventional tools: sponges, palette knives, scrunched cloths, to build texture and contrast across the canvas. The work explores the tension between restraint and expression, using minimal colour to provide a sense of mystery, solitude, and serenity.
